Nadia Adil, Solicitor

Profile - Nadia Adil attended Brunel University (LLB 2001). She then attended The College of Law, obtaining a Distinction in the Legal Practice Course (Corporate Pathway). Nadia joined GSC as a trainee solicitor in December 2002 and qualified as a solicitor in the Commercial Litigation department in March 2005.
As well as Commercial Litigation, Nadia specialises in Employment and also advises on Business Immigration.
Khurram Arif, Solicitor / Consultant

Profile - Khurram Arif specialises in fraud, money laundering and confiscation. He has extensive experience of criminal litigation. Khurram attended the London School of Economics (LLB Hons), qualified as a solicitor in 2001 and as a Higher Court Advocate in 2009. He joined GSC as a consultant solicitor in April 2010.
Shahrzad Atai, Solicitor

Profile - Shahrzad read Applied Maths in Tehran Azad University (BSc Hons 1999) and then came to the UK to qualify as a lawyer. She attended the University of Hertfordshire (LLB Hons 2007) before completing the College of Law Legal Practice Course and Masters in Professional Legal Practice. She trained with Lavery Haynes Solicitors and joined GSC as a solicitor in early 2011. She speaks Farsi and has many years of experience dealing with high net worth individuals in Iran and in the UK.
Menna Bowen, Barrister

Profile - Menna Bowen is dual qualified in Dutch and English law and is a barrister. She joined the firm in 2010 from the London office of Ernst & Young where she was a director in the Financial Services Tax practice and previously was tax counsel at a leading US law firm. She specializes in tax advisory work for quoted and unquoted companies and high net worth individuals. Her work is mainly in the financial services sector with a particular focus on alternative investments and hedge funds.
Menna graduated with a Masters in Civil Law from Leiden University and a postgraduate Diploma in Law from London Guildhall University. She spent a year studying in Japan and speaks six languages.
James Cohen, Solicitor

Profile - James Cohen attended Birmingham University (BSc 2005) before completing the College of Law Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course both with distinction. He qualified as a solicitor in October 2009 and joined GSC at this time to specialise in wills, probate and tax planning.
He has furthered his expertise and knowledge in this area by completing the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP) diploma and is now a qualified Trust and Estates Practitioner.
Jonathan Cohen, Trainee Solicitor

Profile - Jonathan Cohen attended Birmingham University (2007 LLB Hons) and attended The College of Law Chester in 2008 to complete the Legal Practice Course with a commendation. After gaining experience as a litigation paralegal in Manchester, Jonathan joined GSC as a trainee solicitor in September 2010.
Sharni Dhariwal, Paralegal

Profile - Sharni read Law at The University of Kent (LLB Hons 2007) before attending The College of Law London in 2008 to complete the Legal Practice Course with a Commendation. Sharni has a keen interest in Commercial Property and joined GSC in May 2011 as a Commercial Property Paralegal.
Julian Hamilton Barns, Solicitor / Consultant

Profile - Julian Hamilton Barns specialises in Corporate Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions and Company Commercial law with considerable experience with the London Stock Exchange and AIM.
Julian attended the City of London Polytechnic (BA Hons 1981) and qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales and in Hong Kong in 1984. He joined GSC in 2004.
Nick Mogford
Areas - Tax Investigation and Tax Dispute Support

Profile - Nick trained with the Inland Revenue and for 10 years was a Senior Inspector in the Special Compliance Office handling tax investigations into individual and corporate taxpayers. He joined Ernst & Young in 1998 and headed up the South Region Tax Dispute Team, moving to London in 2005 as a Tax Director resolving tax investigations and disputes for both private and corporate clients. He joined the tax department of GSC in May 2011.
David Nathan, Solicitor

Profile - David Nathan specialises in Employment Law and Company/Commercial Law, advising a wide range of clients from large corporations through to individuals.
David read Economics at Leeds University (BA 1995), before going on to the College of Law. He qualified as a Solicitor in January 2001 and joined GSC in January 2005.
Amee Popat, Solicitor

Profile - Amee is an Assistant Solicitor and specialises in commercial property transactions for a wide range of clients with a particular focus on corporate occupiers acquiring or leasing premises including headquarters buildings and fast-food premises.
Amee attended the University of Leicester (2003 LLB Hons) before completing the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in London. She joined GSC in 2004 as a trainee and qualified as a solicitor in 2006.
Mark Richardson, Solicitor

Profile - Mark Richardson attended Southampton Solent University (2007 LLB Hons) and completed the College of Law Legal Practice Course in 2008 with a commendation. Having initially joined GSC as an Administration Assistant in 2003, he then gained experience as a Commercial Litigation paralegal before commencing his Training Contract in 2009 and qualifying as a solicitor in October 2011.
Barry Samuels, Solicitor / Consultant

Profile - Barry Samuels specialises in high profile property and shareholder disputes, frequently involving an international element.
Barry attended Manchester University (LLB Hons 1969) and qualified at Nabarro Nathanson in 1972 where he became partner in the litigation department. He then moved to become partner and head of department for litigation at Manches & Co in 1974, at Brecher & Co in 1986, at Edge & Ellison in 1992 and finally at Kingsley Napley in 1996. Barry joined GSC in 2010 as a solicitor / consultant.
Ross Waldram, Solicitor

Profile - Ross Waldram attended the University of Sheffield (2004 LLB Hons) and completed the College of Law Legal Practice Course in 2006. After gaining experience as an insurance and reinsurance litigation paralegal, Ross joined GSC as a trainee solicitor in October 2007 and qualified as a solicitor in October 2009.
Louise Wall, Solicitor

Louise is an Assistant Solicitor specialising in commercial property. She has experience in a wide range of property transactions including sales and purchases, leasing and portfolio management, with a particular focus on corporate occupier work.
Louise attended the University of Leeds before completing the Graduate Diploma at the University of East Anglia and the Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School. She joined GSC in June 2011 from SNRDenton.
Seena Williams, Solicitor

Profile - Seena Williams has experience in all aspects of residential and commercial property transactions including secured lending. She specialises in high value transactions representing corporate and high net worth individual clients.
Seena attended the University of Luton (1994 LLB Hons) and the College of Law and qualified as a Solicitor in August 2000. She joined GSC in August 2007.
