Our Intellectual Property Group advises on all aspects of the law relating to intellectual property, including copyright and confidentiality, design rights, patents, trademarks and related areas of competition and European law.

We have an strong reputation for the protection of intellectual property rights in the Courts and specialist Tribunals.  These include "passing off" claims, infringement proceedings, piracy and counterfeit actions, parallel imports, search-and-seize orders both in the UK and worldwide and royalty disputes before the Copyright Tribunal.  We also assist clients in the development and implementation of global anti-counterfeiting and enforcement strategies.

In addition, we handle the licensing, assignment and mortgaging of intellectual property rights and manage the implementation of trademark registrations in the UK, EU and internationally.
